For as long as I can remember I have always had an interest in fixing and building things. As a small child living on the east coast, in Pittsburgh PA, I was taking things apart to see how they worked and putting them back together. From there I began working on my bicycles, something that I still do still as an adult. Through my high school years my interests changed to cars. While in school I was enrolled in a vocational class for auto body and fender repair. It taught me to look at things with an attention to detail for the finished product. Upon graduation my teacher asked if I would like to come and work for him at the auto body shop he owned. I took him up on his offer, learning along the way.

In 1980 at the age of 19 I was offered a job with a home improvement company who specialized in replacement windows. For the next two years I enjoyed the challenges that I encountered in the construction industry. In 1983 I moved to San Diego where I began working in the plastic industry as a plastic fabricator. Doing the work with acrylic was something that I enjoyed for the next 15 years. My talents grew, making everything from display stands and encasements for museum pieces. I also worked at making acrylic furniture and custom handrails for residential applications. In 1998 I had enough of the working in a shop like atmosphere and wanted to get back into working on homes. I asked a general contractor friend of mine who specialized in high end residential remodeling if I could go to work for him. He hired me on as a finish carpenter. For the next 8 years I worked in many of the finest homes in San Diego with some of the premier contractors in Southern California.

In 2006 I decided to obtain my license as a general contractor and start my own business. What I enjoy the most about my business is that I am very hands-on in the work that I do for all my clients. My standards are high, which is very important to you “the client.” I work responsibly and lawfully to all codes and state regulations for your protection as well as your greatest investment, your home.
